BIOGRAPHY
Late Mrs. Adline Ogechi Oligbo was born on the 8th day of August, 1945, into the family of Late Chief Ekwozo Onuigbo, of Okamkpam, Umuonaga Village, in Obinofia ndi-uno, Ezeagu Local Government Area, of Enugu State.
SOCIAL LIFE
Having been groomed by her mother in farming, and petty trading, she continued to assist her mother, until she met her husband.
MARITAL LIFE
Mrs Adline Oligbo, got married to Mr. Robert Oligbo, and the marriage was conducted according to the Igbo Tradition.
She lived with her husband at Iva-valley, Enugu, until her husband retired from civil service.
It was after her husband’s retirement that both of them agreed to relocate to the village.
The marriage was blessed with six (6) children.
She is a very supportive and industrious woman, who engaged in different legitimate businesses, to ensure she assisted her husband to care for the family.
She is a very busy person, who has no time for laziness, nor idle talk.
CHRISTIAN LIFE
She was a member of St. James Anglican Church, Iva-valley, for many years, before a new missionary church was created at pottery, Our Saviour’s Anglican Church, where she was an active member, until she relocated to the village, and continued her service with St. John’s Anglican Church, Obinofia ndi-uno.
Mrs. Adline Ogechi Oligbo fell I’ll on the 3rd day of January 2023, and was taken to University Teaching Hospital (UNTH), Enugu, and later moved to Abuja to continue her treatment.
Her Children, Grand-Children, and In-laws, tried their best, both in care and prayers, towards saving her life, until death came knocking.
She was confirmed dead at Kubwa General Hospital, on the 8th day of April, 2023.
We pray that God will grant her eternal rest in Jesus name, Amen.
