BIOGRAPHY
Late mummy Abigail Chinagwa Uzochukwu was born to the family of late Mr. & Mrs. Onuzurike Oka of Umuori Enugwu-agu village in Achi Oji-River Local Government Area of Enugu State.
At the time of her birth, education of female children were not regarded as beneficial and as such she did not acquire any form of formal western education but very intelligent.

Mum got married to late Ogbuefi Micheal Imanyikwa Uzochukwu (a.k.a Udokamma) of Umuolaewe Obinagu, Isikwe-Achi at a very tender age. The marriage was blessed with seven children, four males and three females, thirty-three grand-children, great grand children,daughter’s in-laws. son’s in-laws & other relations.
Mama was a well known Christian in Anglican Communion and was taking part in all the activities/functions in the church. She belonged to the guild & mother’s union and a full financial and participant in all they do.
She was a petty trader, like molding and selling of salt, making of cast oil (Ogiri Igbo) in large quantity that people from other states like Anambra, Imo etc do request for it.
Mummy Abigail was a role model, a counselor, a lover of peace, a caring and a generous mother. She made a vow which she fulfilled by making sure that all her children passed through formal education which her parents denied her from and extended the caring/education to other relations.
Mama was a treasurer of women of (Umuolaewe) both home and abroad all through her life time & was called by them “the bank that keeps money (Uloaku)”. In her own village Umuori because of her patriotism they nicknamed her “wealth that strenghtens the heart (Aku n’esi obi ike).
Among the family members, relations and well wishers, she is also known as “mother general (Nne mmadu niile)”. Her biological children call her the “Pillar that holds the house (Ngwu ji ulo)”
The unity and peace in late Ogbuefi Immanyikwa Uzor family remained a model to other families around us because of the pace set by mama. The inseparable relationship among Mr. Imangikwa Uzochukwu’s family didn’t allow people to know that our father was a polygamist.

The two wives had indelible rooted wisdom that made them to in collate some to their children, grand-children, great grand-children, in-laws and other right thinking human beings into their family that even some of the grand-children thought that they are members of Uzochukwu’s family.
Mama lived a life of emulation and thought us how to be independent, work hard, to use our brain and be generous, to know God as well as to humanity.
Nneoma, you are a rare gem, the vacuum your exit created here on earth can only be filled by God. You left legacy to us and we promise to follow it up by the grace of God.
Mum, see you in the resurrection morning.
