Late Nze Charles Okonkwo Nwokedike, also known as Ononana Ekene Eze, was born into the family of Mr. & Mrs. Nwokedike, who hails from Enuama, Ifite, Ezinifite village, in Aguata Local Government Area of Anambra State.

Wiper, as he is often called, happens to be the only son of his dear parents.

In his lifetime, he was noted to be a successful business man, who left visible blueprints, in the life of many.

Nze Charles (of blessed memory), was blessed with an amiable wife, six (6) wonderful children, and sixteen (16) grandchildren.

Ononana Ekene Eze  bowed out at the age of Eighty Seven (87), after a brief illness, around the month of March, 2022.

Achi is made up of twelve (12) villages (‘Isii n’ulo Isii n’agu’) namely Adu, Agbadala, Ahani, Akwu, Amaetiti, Amankpunator, Egwu, Ehuhe, Enugu Agu, Ihe, Isikwe, and Nkpokolo. Isikwe happens to be the most popular.

The phrase ‘Isii n’ulo Isii n’agu‘ as the natives say, literally means there are six (6) villages in the northern hemisphere and also six (6) villages in the southern hemisphere (if divided into two sections using imaginary lines).
