Achi, whose geographical coordinates are 6° 8′ 0″ North & 7° 22′ 0″ East, is a clan, a town, that has developed into a big city.
Interestingly, it is the largest town within the Local Government Area of Oji-River, in Enugu State, Nigeria.
The phrase ‘Ishii n’ulo-Ishii n’agu‘ as the natives say, literally means there are six (6) villages in the northern hemisphere and also six (6) villages in the southern hemisphere (if divided into two sections, using imaginary lines) respectively.
It’s villages includes Adu, Agbadala, Ahani, Akwu, Amaetiti, Amankpunator, Egwu, Ehuhe, Enugu Agu, Ihe, Isikwe, and Nkpokolo.
