Ezinne Chiagoagugor Kenechukwu

Ezinne (Ambassador) Chiagoagugor Kenechukwu, was born in 1930, to the Aduba family, who hails from Umuigwe, Agbadala-Achi, in Oji-River Local Government Area of Enugu State.

She is the Sixth Child, amongst Seven Children. Later, she became second among the surviving children.

Her education was cut short as a result of her parents untimely death.

Her elder sister, Nwanyiano, took her along with her own family to Aba.

She was happily married to late Edwin Kenechukwu. Her marriage was blessed with seven (7) children, in which five (5) survived.

The couple lived in Markurdi, Oturkpo for many years, with many others from Achi, finally returned home during the civil war.

She began to braid hair as a business in Grand style at Ek’egbo Achi.

Due to her vision and determination to achieve greatness, she moved to Girls Secondary School, Achi, where she joined as a cook for over twenty five (25) years.

She  was opportuned to secure employment in the school through late Engr. Humphrey Adobe, where her motherly love was exhibited, and noted, by over thousands of students, who called her mama, nne ora niile.

Many students, made her their personal mother, and found it to difficult to go on vacation.

Oh mum, you are too affectionate, not only to your children, but to other people immensely.

She also farmed and established other petty trading, just for greener pastures for her family.

Through her cooking career, her talent was blown open and became well known far and wide, students found her cooking favorite, during her duty days. Her cooking career made her popular in our area, after the demise of her husband.

She was transferred to Isikwe Girls Secondary School Achi, there she spent few years and retired.

Ezinne was identified with Anglican Communion right from birth. She joined a lot  of groups such as guild, mother, and volunteer decorating the altar with natural flowers gotten from bushes.

Ezinne Chiagoagugor Kenechukwu is very active, dedicated, devoted and immensely contributed in the service of the Lord.

After retirement, as a result of passion, she had to serve her community as well as her people, she declined going to Lagos with her children, but convinced that she will be taken care of.

Without relenting, she joined Christ Angelican Church, Olodi-Apapa, Lagos.

Her selfless service rewarded her Ezinne (The Ambassador)a honor well deserved.

We extremely took care of you till your last breath.

Thought you have fought a good fight, and finished your race in life, we’ll forever miss you.
