A TRIBUTE TO MY DEARLY BELOVED LOVING WIFE
There are simply no words to capture what you meant to me or convey the full weight of my grief over your passing away.
When I met you many years ago I knew at once that i had struck gold and I know many men have wonderful wives but no one has had a better one than I. You were simply amazing and I am grateful for every minute we stayed together.
We shared a friendship, a bond that no one else an understand, together we fought any battles. You were humble, God fearing, faithful, efficient, virtuous, fearless and had the largest heart to even accommodate both family and strangers.
Chinenyenwa Emilia Odika was my everything. My happiest times were the ones i spent with you.
You gave me the experience of being understood, truly supported and utterly loved me. When I was worried, you said it would be ok, when I wasn’t sure of what to do, you figured it out, when things were difficult you were a pillar, and even there on your sick bed, you reassured me that everything would be okay.
I remember fondly those long hours I would wait for you to be back from work and gist me on how your day went, never shall i forget the laughter, the gist and plans we had.
Missing your presence, your companionship and your care, you cared for me like I was a baby but of cause I was your baby love.
At last, my love could not save you, we fought long and though that you did not want to die and I did not want to let go either, but God thought your work here was done and decided to call you to himself.
However, I am consoled by the fact that we have buried only your body. Your spirit, your beautiful soul, your uncommon ability to calm the storm is still with us. You live on in the stories of those who knew who you were and they are sharing how you touched their lives, you live in the memories of our families who you touched most closely.
Things will never be the same for us yes, but we all have been made better because you were in our lives. I assure you that i will be strong for the boys, and together we shall make you proud. You are at Gods right hand because you served him fervently. Keep on resting in Gods bosom till we meet to part no more my love.
Farewell my beloved,
Rest on my prayer warrior,
Adieu Ijele Nwanyi m,
Goodbye Ezigbo Nwunye m.
Your Husband

TRIBUTE TO MY BELOVED AND CARING MUMMY
Mummy, I am really saddened and grieved at your demise. Just wondering where else we can get a love and care you lavished on me and my younger brother(Ugo).
Anyway i take solace in the fact that you lived a good life, a life we all witnessed and were proud of.
Mama m, you’ve been the source of our strength, my progress, cheerfulness, courage upon which I rested on. I was taught to be generous and above all God fearing. You prayed and rained blessings on me always that I couldn’t comprehend. My mum made sure i had the best education by sending me to one of the best schools, from childhood to tertiary.
If life had a spare i would have shared mine with you just for you to be alive.
Fervently, i pray that all you’ve prayed for during your life time continue to follow us until our last breathe.
Promise to make you proud mummy.
I miss and love you always mum.
You are forever in my heart.
Your lovely 1st son

My good Aunt, I didn’t know that death will take you in this manner.

Who will welcome me well as Aunt again at Enugu? whether I come in the day or night she will welcome me with joy. What a seperation? Aunt, tears can’t stop rolling. A TRIBUTE TO MY BELOVED LOVING AUNTY
Mummy, I really don’t know where to start writing from, because if I should start writing it will be a long epistle but nevertheless, I will pour out my heart on this sheet of paper.
Mum everyday I looked at you, you inspired me, you were a friend and a mother, and sometimes gist matter. You always made me smile, lighted my burden emotionally, physiologically, spiritually, and financially and brought out a lesson from every situation.
You were a special woman, so kind, God fearing, strongly determined, fearless, generous to a fault and so supportive. I learnt and loved how you managed to keep your family close and united, even through to your paternal home (extended family). You were the zeal that held us because you had wonderful ways to deal with disagreement and problems and I promise to live by your foot-print.
I remember how you stood firmly by us when others questioned I and your son’s relationship, at first, you showered me with love and told me to be comfortable and be open to you as I was already a part of your family.
Mum, I wished you had stayed back, I wish you had stayed to officially bless I and your son’s union, I wished you had stayed back to see your grandchildren and give them pet names like you fondly do to us.
Wished you had lived more longer to pet me to eat and take my drugs whenever am sick like you used to do.
I have known you for couple of years but it is like I have been with you since I was born.
Missing you so much but God needs you by His side because you were an angel living amongst human.
Mum you shall never be forgotten and forever remain in our heart for you are indeed a virtuous woman.
Rest on Mum
Your lovely,
Ngene Chinyere (Baby Gift)
TRIBUTE TO MY DEAR AUNTY “BIG MUMMY”
Death why? The moment I received the unpleasant news of your departure, my world coved. I tried questioning the creator but am not in the right position to do so. One thing am still confused about is why is it that good people with good heart die early?
Big mum, you haven’t fully enjoyed the fruit of your labor, but i believe you are in the right hand of God. A woman with a good heart and loving spirit.
Just with this small time you spent with us on earth, you have touched the heart of many and your memory is unforgettable.
I pray God to give us the heart to bear this and also give our big daddy, brother Chiboy and brother Ugo the strength to endure this pain.
We will forever miss you Big Mum, Rest on, a woman with a heart of Gold.
Yours lovely
Emehelu Dera “Nna M”
